We use and sell the LHS replacement fluid since 2002. According to the Citroën specifications mixed for all export models into North-America. LHS was forbidden in the US!
It has been recommended and used by DS Clubs in France for years. It is not a silicone brake fluid! This softens namely the rubber seals of the hydraulic system.
